Shopping for a Vintage Figurine

I love small pieces of art and a vintage figurine certainly falls into that category. Vintage figurines can be fine art pieces cast in bronze or porcelain that depict greek gods or western cowboys. A vintage figurine can also be a vintage kewpie figurine. So whether you’re looking for high-brow art or popular culture memorabilia, you’ll be able to find a vintage figurine to suite your personal taste and home decor.

I’m a dog lover so I particularly enjoy vintage dog figurines. There is something about a 1950′s poodle strutting their stuff that makes me yearn for one to take for a walk. I can still hear Timmy yelling for Lassie in the classic 1960′s television series, every time I see a vintage collie figurine. How many black labs with bandanas tied around their necks caught frisbees in the 1980s. Of course today pugs are everywhere and soon there’ll be vintage figurines reminding us of their bygone popularity as some other dog breed takes their place. As my neighbor said looking at all of my vintage dog figurines, “At least they don’t bark!”

You can of course give a vintage figurine as a fine collectible gift. If you know a figurine collector, you’ll certainly have fun shopping for a figurine to suite their tastes. It is also easy to suite your budget!
