i got a white one and it doenst work im wondering if the black one will work
The white one is older, and can link up with 802.11B, G, or A wireless routers.
The black one just came out, and can link with 802.11B, G, A or N wireless routers — it adds the new higher speed Wireless-N. It also has two antennas so you may get a better wireless connection.
As to whether or not the black one will work when the white one doesn’t, it depends on why the white one doesn’t work.

And that assumes your editing platform does not need any upgrades.
Wanting to get either a hdd or dvd camcorder which is a better buy?
I am having my first child in three weeks, and I was wanting to get info on which camera would be better. I heard the HDD’s format is one that is not widely used or easily edited. But I don’t know if the DVD camcorder can be edited at all. Any suggestions would help. Looking probably around 5-600 price range. Thanks
Neither is easy to edit, but it can be done. If you’re set on one of these, I would buy the hard drive because it can record longer. The best choice would be a MiniDV camcorder. It records on a small digital tape, and since the video is not compressed the quality is better than either hard drive or DVD. They are also cheaper. MiniDV can record 60 minutes to a tape (longer than DVD), but unlike hard drive, you can always put in a new tape instead of having to run to computer to download video.
Im looking for something that has great video quality for outdoor and maybe sometimes indoor but mostly outdoor recording. I want it to have an Shotgun mic because the Audio is an must. (Im willing to buy shotgun mic separate).

This can be fixed when you edit with something like Audacity.

My digital camera uses lots of AA batteries. What can I do to make them last longer?
My digital camera is a Samsung Digimax D100 and it uses batteries very quickly – AA ones, to be precise. I’ve tried Duracell, Philips, and Panasonic batteries, I’ve even tried rechargable sets of batteries which hasn’t lasted any longer. What would you recommend to make them last longer?
Ordinary batteries drain much too quickly because they don’t have enough power in them to run a high drain electronic device such as a digital camera. They really are a waste of money and should only be used in an emergency.
So, for cost effectiveness and more reliable power, it’s best to use rechargeable AA NiMH batteries (high capacity 2500mAh or higher) and a charger.
These types of batteries may need to be charged, used and recharged several times before they reach their maximum charge capacity. Also, they drain when not used, so give them a charge if you haven’t used them in a while.
Also, to try and conserve battery power, turn your LCD screen off in-between shots and limit how long you spend reviewing your pictures, because the LCD uses most of your battery power. Also, limit using the flash and the recording of movies, because these also require lots of battery power. If your camera has an optical viewfinder, you can use that (instead of the LCD screen) to compose your shots.

I need advice on which Tapeless Video Camera to get. I need tapeless, I would prefer flash memory rather than hdd, because I am concerned about hard drive crash, and an sd-card slot is a necessity, and not just for still pictures. Equal video quality should be written, if its on the internal memory, or sd-card.
And I think I want something that records into AVCHD, or maybe P2, but I’m concerned about losing quality with compression.
